Introduction to Hand-Laminated Puff Pastry - Sunday, July 1st, 5- 8:30 pm

OWL's Lead Baker, Ashley Cort, will introduce participants to the fundamentals of hand-laminated puff pastry.  This workshop is intended for advanced home bakers, but no experience with laminated doughs or puff pastry is necessary. Bakers will participate in all the steps of making puff pastry: mixing the dough, shaping beurrage, laminating and baking the pastry. Ashley will demonstrate a few ways to shape puff pastry using some of OWL's favorite toppings and fillings. Participants will take home their baked pastries and our OWL puff pastry formula.  If you have a favorite rolling pin, please feel free to bring it, but no equipment is required.
