March R&D Pastry Subscription
Spring is nearly upon us, and our growing OWL team wants to usher it in by baking for you! Although our retail location at 295 Haywood Road won’t be open until early April, we do not want to wait until then to begin feeding you. For the past two months, we have been working steadily in our current production space, testing recipes and fine-tuning our formulas so our offerings will be at their best when we are fully operational in our new home. Until then, we have devised a way to share some of our explorations and developments with you!
For the month of March, we are offering a limited number of R&D (Research and Development) Pastry subscriptions. Each week, we will create an assortment of the items that you will soon see on our bakery’s rotating menu. Boxes replete with these samplings will then be available for pick-up every Thursday afternoon in West Asheville at our current production space.
There are two ways to participate:
1.) Sign up for a month-long (5 weeks) Subscription // We have 15 slots available for month-long subscriptions. For $80, you will pick up one large box, bursting full, each week! This subscription will allow you to try a wide assortment of our fare, including pastry, cookies, granola, cakes and other surprises.
2.) Order smaller boxes by the individual week // For this option, $10 will grant you a medium size box filled with a sampling of our creations for the week. These are available to order on the website on a per-week basis. Our thematic menu may help you decide which weeks sound the most appealing to you (see below).

This R&D subscription is designed to help us share with you the activities in our bakery world, get feedback on our products, and generate income at an important time in our bakery’s development, including bringing new bakers on board and streamlining our processes as a team.
