We are delighted to welcome author and baker Sarah Owens for several events and a weeklong residency at OWL Bakery from Sunday, September 4th through Friday, September 8th. Join us for an intensive workshop exploring seasonal botanical themes in bread and pastry or for a relaxing social evening and book signing with cocktails and snacks in the OWL grove.

ABOUT SARAH: Sarah Owens is a New York City based cookbook author, baker, gardener, and instructor. She was awarded a James Beard for her first book Sourdough and will release her second in August 2017 titled Toast & Jam with Roost Books. Sarah curates private dining events, cooks for public pop-up dinners, and teaches baking and preservation workshops globally.

Seasonal Bread & Pastry Workshop

Spend an afternoon in the OWL Bakeshop with Sarah Owens and Susannah Gebhart to explore seasonally-inspired bread and pastry, including benchwork and tutorials on artful scoring, hand laminating, and creative botanical applications. We will conclude the afternoon with snacks and soft cocktails. This session will be geared toward dedicated home bakers and professionals: some experience is encouraged.
